Ophthalmologist
Dr. Andrew Wang (pronounced “Wong”) grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, graduating in 1996 with a B.S. in biology and a minor in English and chemistry. In 2000, he received his M.D. from Rush University Medical School.
Dr. Wang interned at Arrowhead Medical Center in Colton, California, in 2000–2001, then completed his ophthalmology residency at the State University of New York (SUNY Downstate) in Brooklyn in 2004, along with a cornea and refractive surgery subspecialty fellowship at Cornell University in Manhattan. He is board certified in ophthalmology.
Dr. Wang and his wife, Jill, have three children — Nathan and twins Elise and Ariel. They attend Overflow Church in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
